how's that for an alliterative title?! The NY Times has a cool project on their web site. their goal is to have a photo of every polling place in the US. i uploaded some photos i took this morning, and i feel like my voice was heard twice!
although i have to tell you, bringing your camera into a polling place causes a bit of panic. the lady in charge at the town hall asked me to step aside and we went over the instructions regarding the media. i told her that i wouldn't take pictures of any people, that i just wanted to document my experience and was inspired by the photo project. so it was all good.

I did take photos. I also took my kids with me so that they could see what it would look like. History would be made either way and I had my camera along. =]
